Our mission was to support the transition from the legacy IBM integration platform to the MuleSoft Anypoint platform to minimize operational disruptions while making the client’s infrastructure more agile and cost-effective. We worked alongside our client to achieve the following goals:
- Produce comprehensive deployment reference documents based on MuleSoft best practices.
- Set up the MuleSoft platform with High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and a complete network configuration.
- Establish robust logging, error handling, security, monitoring, and testing frameworks.
- Rewrite 20 APIs from IBM to MuleSoft, from proof of concept to full-scale production.
Our client is one of North America’s largest luxury goods retail chains, established in 1965, with a global presence and a strong reputation for premium fashion and lifestyle products. They operate three major entities: a leading luxury fashion eCommerce platform, a premier off-price luxury online retailer, and a Canadian eCommerce marketplace. The client needed a modern, agile integration platform to support their complex and dynamic business operations, driving efficiency and growth across all brands.

Incepta’s MuleSoft experts produced 9 comprehensive deployment reference documents detailing phase-wise migration from IBM to the MuleSoft platform.
As part of the project, the Incepta team redesigned 20+ APIs as MuleSoft integrations.
The Incepta team also set up the Mulesoft environment with HA, DR, CI/CD, and end-to-end network along with the logging, error handling, security, monitoring, and testing framework.
